Our Earth Mother’s Trauma  

我們地球母親的創傷 

Mother Earth spent four billion years creating

A garden of delights,

Brim with over ten million species of living organisms.

地球母親以四十億年時光孕育生命花園,

充滿了千萬多種繽紛生命。 

Finally man emerged to take charge of this masterpiece

Our forebears captivated with delight

Saw the immensity and diversity of life around them

最後人類出現了接管了這個傑作生命花園。

我們的祖先以品類之盛及生命多樣而喜樂。 

But mankind makes “progress” in his living,

He consumes the natural resources, striving to live luxuriously

Therefore, is affecting the Earth ecology seriously.

但是人類過著所謂的進步生活,消耗自然資源,力求奢侈地生活

因此，嚴重地影響著地球生態。 

Upon a lonely half stripped tree

Sensitive amphibious frog observes the Earth mothers change.

在一個偏僻被剝離的樹上,

一隻(delete)兩棲青蛙敏感地觀察地球母親的改變。  

Icebergs of the North poles Greenland and the east side of the South Pole dissolve at great speed.

They will decide human destiny, unable to reflect the intense heat

Mother Earth sweats, she is getting hotter

北極格陵蘭的冰山和南極的東邊快速溶化。

The industry increases carbon dioxide and methane

Persecuting and torturing this garden of life unceasingly

The Earth Mother is worried, and is going insane.

With flood and hurricane, earthquake，forest fire and bitter cold ，

She expresses her distress through drought and desertification manifest as the sea levels rise

For her moods are unstable and nervous.

地球母親苦惱得要瘋了。洪水、颶風、地震、森林大火和嚴寒,

當海平面上升，她煩惱天旱和沙漠化

因為她的心情是不穩定和緊張的。

Mother’s future prognosis, is not looking good

Toil of lengthened summer, extended winter chills

Joyful displays of splendor in spring and autumn fail

預測母親的未來，看起來不好

被加長的夏天勞碌，延長了冬天冷顫

華麗春天和秋天的快樂,發生故障了。

We must comfort the Earth Mother

Protecting her, bringing balance to heal her temperature spikes

我們必须安慰她，保護她，帶來平衡癒合她的溫度釘(喻南北極冰山)。

Must her trauma make us refugees?

難道要讓她的創傷使我們成為難民嗎？ 

Can we save her in time?

我們能及時拯救她嗎？ 

Surely it depends on you and me.

To attend and cherish, guard and protect

Allowing her to rejuvenate her natural beauty and magnificence
