第二届亚太电影节于2014年10月，再次在奥克兰举办， 又有一部新西兰电影在电影节首映，除上一届参加的国家外，泰国电影加入了这一届电影节。在这届电影节，除了本地的电影人，一些国际电影人士来到了奥克兰参加电影节，包括中国的知名演员林更新，王立坤，以及中国制片人杜杨。
2015年10月，第三届亚太电影节在奥克兰天空城举办。同样，新西兰电影又一次在亚太电影节上首映，台湾（中国）电影加入了电影节，更多电影界人士参加电影节。中国的新闻机构和网站来新西兰。关于这个节日的消息不仅受到当地媒体的报道，而且在中国和韩国得以广泛报道。中国演员宋佳， 郭涛， 导演高群书参加了开幕式。

第四届亚太电影节将于今年10月29日在奥克兰SKYCITY举行。现在，新西兰亚太电影节已经广泛被当地和国际电影节认可。更多本地和国际电影和电影人将参加本届电影节。由于以往的影响力，本届电影节得到了新西兰毛利旅游部（新西兰国家政府部门）和奥克兰电影电视文员会（奥克兰政府部门）获得了支持。届时更多国内和国际媒体将进行报道。

In October 31, 2013, the first Asia Pacifica Film Festival was held in Auckland. It is the very first film event in Auckland which focuses on Asia Pacific regions and engaged with local New Zealand Film industry. There were 17 films screened in the festival. There films from main land China, Hong Kong area, Korea, India, Vietnam, and New Zealand. 

The second Asia Pacifica Film Festival was hold in the following October, 2014. Again a New Zealand new film premiered in the Festival, and Thailand file took part in the festival. In this festival, except the local film people, some movies starts and directories came for the festival, including Chinese starts Ling Gengxin, Wang Likou, as well as Chinese file producer Du Yang. 
In October, 2015, the third Asia Pacifica Film Festival was held in Skycity, Auckland. Again, a New Zealand film premiered in the festival, A Taiwan (China) film jointed the festival, more starts, directors participated the festival. In the festival, Chinese news agencies and websites come to New Zealand. The news about this festival not only reported by local media, but also in China, and Korea.

The 4th Asia Pacifica Film Festival will be held in Auckland in October, 29, this year. The festival now is wildly reorganized by local film society and international file industry. It has gained support from, Mari Tourism (New Zealand Government Department), and Auckland Screen (Auckland Government Department).
