Memorandum of Understanding Signed Announcing
a NZ/China NZD $10M Coproduction Feature Film
新中两国公司签署联合摄制故事影片谅解备忘录
NZ film company Definitive Productions Co. Ltd and Chinese film company Titan International Film Co. Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop and co-produce a NZ/China official co-production feature film (working title “Revelation of Gold Panning”) with a forecast working budget of $ 10 Million NZD. The film will begin development shortly and the Parties hope that in will commence filming in 2017.
新西兰Definitive Production影业有限公司与中国泰坦国际影业有限公司业已签署联合摄制故事影片谅解备忘录，该片暂定名为“淘金启示录”，预计耗资1000万新西兰元。此项目拟于近日启动，摄制工作计划于2017年展开。

Titan International Film Limited is an established Chinese film company developing cultural exchanges and screen business opportunities between China and New Zealand. It believes that, with the combination of talents, skills and storytelling of both companies as a catalyst, the co-production is expected to be both critically acclaimed and popular with domestic and international box offices.

New Zealand Asian film and theatre producer and director, Alex Lee of Tamarillo Films Ltd, will lead Definitive’s production slate and international strategy. Alex will also be developing and directing a documentary and transmedia project based on the Chinese gold miners that did not make their return journey back to Guangzhou on the ill-fated SS Ventnor.
新西兰亚裔电影与戏剧制作人兼导演、来自Tamarillo影业有限公司的Alex Lee将负责Definitive影业公司的影片制作及其国际战略的实施。Alex还将策划、执导一部跨媒体纪录片，该片将把Ventnor号蒸汽轮船失事、华工遗骸未能如愿返乡的真实故事再现给观众。
